Your fishing in the wrong lake man! There are lots of other engine threads dedicated to Big Block discussions. This thread is dedicated to the Picco .26 MAX. Have some patience and do a forum search! I'm trying to be helpfull, not rude. Good luck with your quest for insane HORSEPOWER!

Use the OFNA mount and follow the steps I posted on page 10 to add some adjustability for using different gear ratios.

I already know more than enough about the "mounting" issues...mounting (to give me a headache), he he he. But my question was "what do YOU + other guys, think is the BEST system for the PICCO .26", whether it be modding a sirio mount or whatever...?

It would be good to see how many can think outside the box as such.

can't tell you anything about the mount. i don't know what will fit in it. i would guess you'll need a new one. i had a p3 but never installed it. i am pretty sure you're gonna need a new exhaust pipe and header. oh, and the ez start won't fit the p3. you're gonna need a different starting system. with the p3 you have yourself a real big block, not a mid-block like the max.

for the settings, try looking at ofna.

just so you know a little more about your engine you might check out this

Bronco, everytime I see your revo man, I just have to love how realistic it looks and how cool it is when viewed as a 4WD.

Anyway, I was thinking about some new rims as such to put on in the snow for a bit of fun in the shallow stuff...what do you guys have as recomendations... I have an idea about what to get and what I may wish to buy but its always good to get others opinions of what else my or may not be out there to snatch up and plough on the revo.

I think kliff got a Picco 28 about a week ago.....fact is I'm almost certain I saw it in a REVO he has yesterday. I didn't think to ask him what mount he used.

The best tires for snow without a doubt are Pro-lines standard size paddle tires. I don't recommend the 40 series tires because they make for sluggish acceleration (even with lower gearing). Braking performance is deminished also because of increased rotating mass. Bigger tires=more weight, more weight=less performance. Increased rotating mass also makes landing jumps more difficult because it's harder to level off before landing.

Thanks clark for the info mate...I was thinking rims though. But again, thanks for the tyre advice...

I terms of the rotational mass, some rims really catch and hold all that snow and ice up a little so that the truck is hauling far more than the stock weight at the wheels. I have an old enigne Ill use for the winter bash, but need somoe good rims that allow the show to push through as much as possible without getting all iced up or snowed in. Thanks guys.

I know its a bit off topic from the picco .26, but some of you have done the snow bash before...me, only once and it was a different truck.
