I keep my slipper real tight and have not broken anything in the trans but I upgraded along time ago to robinson racings diff gears because the trx 3.3 broke a couple gears off of the ring gear.

So I joined the darkside and its been great but now Its my turn to suffer from this front bearing leak. Ive got about 4 tanks past break in. Looking at the Boca bearings but does any one know which set is the best for the 26 max. Prices range from 30 to 70 dollars for high speed to premium kit. So looking for opinions on which set works best. Gonna talk with OFNA too see what they will do but after all the reading it looks like after market might be the way to go? What do you guys think...?

Man, I have a picco 26 max on my revo and the low end is awsome. I am having a problem with wheelies i cannot keep the front wheels in the ground. I am using stock gearing does anyone have any suggestions with this problem.

I had the same problem. Even at 25 mph, if I nailed the gas it would flip over backwards. When I swapped the 2.5 chassis for the longer 3.3 chassis it became much more controllable. If you're already in a 3.3 chassis, I would suggest taller gears ( a smaller spur gear ) or bigger tires (like 40 series )

I guess this is the right place to ask this. Will a revo's stock drive-train and transmission handle the power of the Picco 26 ?

I have run over 3 gallons thru my .26 (still has super pinch) with stock drive train and the only part that can't handle it is a gear in the tranny(#5396) that meshes with a metal gear. Pretty easy to replace, but I wouldn't want to do it on my tailgate. It has happened twice, so now I carry a spare tranny (swaps out in 5 min); because it really sucks to have a day ender on your first tank.

Ok, Someone had a used one on E-bay. I think it sold for around $100... I have a RB TM523 and am thinking of selling it to get a picco 26. Too many problems with the RB. Has anyone owned both of these motors or know how they compare? What are the downsides or usual problems with a picco 26?

THEY ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They just arrived today. The retail price is $375, roughly $26 dollars more than the standard Picco Max motor. The street price will be less, right around $265, $270. The original angines sold in stores for about $240. Your local hobby store sets the final price, so they will vary a little bit. Sorry it took so long, they were on the slow boat from Italy. We have a couple hundred in stock. I posted it here first because I know you guys are the die hard Maxx engine fans.

WhooHoo.........Finally I made up my decision to order myself a Picco.26 maxx , is cheap too only cost me $179.95 from r/cplanet, I've order quite a few more things from them the total cost me just under $300 included shipping to me (Canada). They service is awesome and I press my order last night and the package is shipped out this afternoon, that's a quick shipping service , hopefully I'll get my package next week.
