Word on the street is there was a possible problem...I dunno. Just curious...esp. since it is a Tamiya can I should be fine. Is maintenance really an issue with these light mod. cans? I mean a sport tuned is ok but for $4 more this motor doesn't even compare. Hmmmmm

I have just joined a world-wide club of great acclaim, the adventure begins. It entered the house in stock form, but it shall leave as something very different. After seeing what can be done to a Kyosho Blizzard, I'm already hatching sinister plans.

Just now ordered whole CRP double wishbone front-end/hardware!, now I still need a metal-geared servo plus kimbrough servo-saver. Getting radio Saturday.

I admit I don't know how to post pics on here. I'm not very good at computers when it comes to that. I'll try. I used the original king pin bolts and had to drill the holes bigger in the knuckles for them to slide thru. The shock tower for the FX10 was used but had just the part that held the upper suspension arm in place, the rest was cut off. the A arms had to be shoetened where they mount in the chassis, just a couple mm on each end though, no big deal. It wasn't a bad job, just a little time consuming and a little patience. I use the Tamiya black short shocks. They needed the longer ball ends where the stock suspension used the short ones, but the shock kit comes with both. Also, I took out the longer shock stops in the shocks and put in the short ones. This is all due to the way it stands the shocks staight up and down. They actually work real smoothl, super nice shocks, no complaints. The whole kit with shipping from Team CRP on ebay was only $25 or so. It drives totally different and the front soaks up bumps and jumps like a sponge. If the back suspension worked like the front the truck would actually be track worthy. Maybe somebody will come out with a rear suspension mod. The suspension moves enough now to where a sway bar could benefit in the turns. I might fab one up.
first click reply on a message that you or someone else typed, then click the botton hilighted in this picture, and then find them in your computer were you saved the files

Quick LB question...
For my super stock RZ motor would it be better to get (2) 7.2v 3800 packs or a single 5000 mah pack? On a brushed motor would the punch be that much different? Would a lower mah 8.4 somehow be the same?
