time to experiment then hehehe..

motors are faily cheap, i tried a few with my 12t esc but i cant find any that can handle 8 cells, most motors are 7 cell so they burn out really quick!!

i was thinking s-600's or t-600's because 550's will fit. i do belive 600's are the same size i'll only run say 6 cells maybe 7 if i get creative. i'll see what i can do i would like brushless and lipo but that doesnt go with water and mud very good.

i think you need to be carefull with a 550 motor because wont it hit on the rear spring?

i was just on ebay looking for 550 motors, i have a hornet pinion that i could use s i dont need the motor spacer, was thinking of a 23t 550 motor running on 9.6v with a hornet pinion (18 teeth)

Try the stock setup first.. if it is really THAT slow for you.. then maybe you can try the bigger pinion... Hopefully it won't overheat the ESC / motor when you do!

Interesting, you guys get them shrink wrapped? All kits in Germany are not!
Makes me want to buy a Gold Edition and keep it all wrapped up!
