My car recently stopped working because of a broken glow plug igniter. I ordered a new one and started it a few times aand then it wouldnt start .Now it doesnt start So do u think the igniter is bad or needs to be charged. How long does a full charge last anyway.

well first...... take your glow plug out and plug it into the igniter so that you can see if the spring in the bottom of the glow plug is glowing bright orange..... if its not , then either your plug or igniter is bad... ALSO have you tried tuning it any??? adjusted ne of the screws???

Get a brand new glow plug and plug it into your ignitor just in case your old glow plug is bad...then that will tell the story if your ignitor is charged or not...

And jeepers is right...a brand new ignitor should be charged at LEAST 8-10 hours the first time...some require a bit more.
