Thank, Digger and Bill! Jim, somewhere on a piece of paper I wrote down the weights of the wing and fuse (including tail) before I started painting. I'll try to find it, but the wing weighs about 28ozs now - with the two aileron servos installed, so, if I remember correctly it's gained about 1 1/2 ounces in dope. The fuse/tail with engine mount, pushrods and air tank/valve weighs 32ozs; engine is 24ozs, the rest of the radio gear is around 11ozs; retracts w/wheels are 13.5ozs; rudder, elevators and ailerons are around 4ozs. That's 112.5 ozs, or, 7.03125lbs. My target limit is 120ozs, or, 7.5lbs. That leaves me 7.5ozs to play with. I figure I'll end up adding maybe 3 more ozs in dope. Even if I do break 7.5lbs it won't be a disaster. The RCM article stated 8.5lbs as the expected weight for the UFO.
