I am running bologna skins on my jato and bought new tires and rims from my lhs, the tires are right but the rims are for a rustler, smaller so the tires wont fit the rims. The tires on the truck now are factory and glued pretty good. Any suggestions or wait till 11am tomorrow and see if they have the right rims, plus the rims are pretty much brand new anyway, would hate to throw them out. I know this is not a redcat but i do own 2 redcats and would rather post to people i know.

thanks
eddie

Hey..believe it or not in all the reading I've done I read somewhere that boiling them for a while will loosen the glue.

Couldn't hurt to try it on one and see if it works.

LOL!!...cool...thought you might laugh at the suggestion.

Speaking of wheels and tires....I'm pissed...the chrome is ALEADY coming off those new truck (Truggy) wheels I bought for my Hurricane.....think I might give the place I bought them from a call Monday and see if they will do anything about it.

just to let everyone know, boiling your tires to remove the glue DOES WORK. Chrome tires may get a little dull though.
