weathers been crap for 3 days now... but to answer your questions. it did seem to push a bit more durring throttle up. but was also seems a bit thick at wot.... also the engine would seem to DOG ever so slightly when 1st @ wot, then about 3 seconds later Came Into it very strong and stayed until i throttled down, did the same thing the 3 times i had wot. seemed to idle very well once i had the lsn set better.. i probably could of ran a full tank at idle no probs. no hesitation on throttle up, just seems a bit sluggish, but only occasionally when throttleing up. one thing i didnt metion, which after closer inspection/thought i feel is a major part of my problem, is i had the gas tank inverted, with only a little amount of pressure line entering the tank, gas level was over the pressure line and probably flowing to the exhaust port.. i know it was when i shut the engine down. i watched it come from the exhaust pipe ... i didnt use any one ways yet. as i was just testing it all out so didnt think i needed them at this point, wrong thought.... i ve looked at a few documents for tank set ups and see the need for one ways even at this stage. i have a question or 2. is there a specific oneway or relief valve i should get for exhausting extra pressure from the tank, or is it the same valve just after a tee to expell extra pressure into the atmosphere? any things i should be aware of when setting this up? i also have a few of these around,(see pic) i think they are external fillers, but cant quite figure the set up out. can someone explain the set up of the 4 nipples on the back, im a bit confused. it seems if i Blow into the fill nipple, the air comes from the Vent hole. not any of the rear nipples. the 4 back nipples are set up like 2 flow thru... top 2 connected. bottom 2 connect.. i m missing how this rigs up. are these diaphram pumps maybe? the black item is a one way i think, as it only allows flow in one direction.. i tempararily used this to stop fuel flow to the muffler but with no pressure releif vavle installed, the pressure built up in the tank so great in a one minute run, when i shut down the engine... the pressure in the tank continued to push fuel out the carb until i lifted the plane and allowed the pressure to escape... any help you could give this build/repairing newb would be great.
