I recieved the ones I had ordered and they are some nice pieces. I hope to get a chance to fire some engines this weekend to see how well they work. If they work as well as I think they will, I may be bugging you Darin to help me replace the flywheels on all the engines I have in my garage ...

Any updates on the GX31 flywheel?

Any reports of the flywheels that have been sent out?

The duropower will be out the same as the honda, they take a bigger flywheel and a sub hub.

Darin, please keep me in mind for the gx-31, let me know when you will have one available for me. You should have me on the list from the very beginning.

Thanks

bn120: Are you finding that most all crankshafts have the same taper? I like to use the end of a crank to place in lathe when machining flywheels. Thanks Capt,n

Hi Darrin, Just got off the phone with you and it was a real pleasure to talk. Just for record I will send you me order in writing. I will need two flywheels - one for my 25cc homelite and another for my 30 cc homelite. Would like one modified for both a 25cc homelite and a 31 cc Ryobi. the homies are both short shafts and the Ryobi is a long shaft. Let me know if this is possible please.
If not possible make both for Homelite. Thank - Al

I bought a flywheel from you 3 months ago and still no flywheel.I talked to you three weeks ago and you said I would have one by the end of the week and still nothing.I talked to you two weeks ago and you said I would have one by the end of the week and that was two weeks ago.I've called and called and left my number for you to call me but no return call.If there is a problem I would understand, but don't leave me out there hanging.

Well, I need to pass on my experiences so far. This isn't a flame or insult, it's just a story of what's happend to me.

I ordered and paid for a flywheel in late April and received it a few weeks later. During testing I found that it rubbed the front of my Ryobi conversion. Darin requested I return the lite-weight flywheel and my Ryobi (with stock, machined flywheel) for some evaluation to help him with product development. We communicated through emails and he said he had received everything and would finish/return it in a week.

Now it's July. I still have not heard from Darin and I have none of my equipment. I've tried emails and phonecalls to contact him and get my motor back (it is flying season...) and I have yet to hear from him....

I would like to know what's happened to my motor & parts.

So make your own decision about this but the old saying "let the buyer beware" rings in my ears.

Well after 4 months now I guess I'm to the conclusion that I've been had.
My checks been cashed. For three weeks straight he has promised me a flywheel by the end of the week.but I've never received anything.I've tried to talk to Darin and he will not answer my phone calls. And now the calls will not go through at all.I've sent him emails but no return.I think to get a reputation for not completing a deal like this for $50.00 is sad. But I guess if he wants my $50.00 that bad he can have it, Maybe his intentions was good but you don't string someone along for months and then leave him high and dry.Just my opinion

Perhaps if you listed his full name address and phone number some one could stop by and make sure he is okay.

Surely anyone who would request you to send him something in the mail would not be silly enough to commit a Felony
by keeping your flywheel and the item you had purchased.

And surely after reading this would contact the reasonable people involved with a reasonable explanation.

The post master is very particular about things like this.

Ok..maybe I'm being too harsh,I'll do my best to get hold of him.
I hope I am wrong because I'd like to think the best of everyone.
But I am a little upset about this because this has been going on for a long time.My check was cashed the end of March and this is July.
