kahloq, Its a bit messy, but have you tried the soap bubble method of leak detection. Pressurize your system, put a drop or 2 (eyedropper) of dish soap and water mix (or kids bubble stuff) on the joints, fittings, cylinders (both ends and along the pushrod) and anyplace you suspect might be leaking, one place at a time, if it bubbles, you found your leak. Use some paper towels to pick up any drops that contact raw balsa.
