kahloq, Mix a couple drops of liquid dish soap (Dawn, Joy etc.) with about 4 oz water (you don't need much), you want a solution that will bubble easily. Or use the kids bubble stuff. Test by blowing some air through a tube into the solution. Pressurize the system, use an eyedroper (to keep excess to a minumum) and apply a drop or 2 to each connection of tubing, "T", the point where the barb screws into the valve body, any slideing parts, etc. If any place bubbles, that is where the leak(s) is/are and where you need to start repairs. Repete the test after repair or replacement of the parts, it may leak again in another spot. Paper towels will get any solution that gets on raw wood. A little locktite, pipe dope (liquid type), teflon tape or finger nail polish (I have used them all) applied to the barb threads will help seal them, just don't get any inside the barb or valve or block the opening with the tape.
