I REALLY LIKE THE SPINNER YOU HAVE ON YOUR kmp mE 109...iT ALMOST MAKES HER LOOK LIKE A bf109E...THOUGH NOT SCALE, AT FIRST GLANCE SHE LOOKS KINDA COOL.
WHAT SPINNER ARE YOU USING ON THAT ?

The spinner he's using IS scale for an E-7 tropical variant of which he is doing

See pic (it shows Messerschmitt Me 109E-7/U-2 (Oberleutnant Werner Schroer, I./JG 27, Sahara)

I had flown the 109 with an Laser 120.
Not the power of an 120 surpass, but flying very scale.
Sorry no video, only some pics at my homepage.

Hi there German27 I have put one together with the OS 120 pumped engine. I am sure that's close enough for you!

I have flown it a few times and it fly’s with real authority in the air. No shortage of power and to be honest I think it is a little over powered, but only just!

I have a build page you can view for the 109 at the following address:

http://www.hbc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/models/index.htm

As for video. Yes I have some but it has not been re-encoded for upload yet. I also have a crap landing that I am non-too proud to share

Good to see another ME-109 enthusiast. Just so you know, the prototype plane was flown with an RCV91CD, so your 120 should have no problems at all flying it. Put as much of the internal stuff as far forward as possible to avoid adding dead weight. The plane does need nose weight, so if you use onboard glow, stuff it in the nose around the fuel tank up against the firewall. I have 2x 1500nimh batteries for the onboard glow as well as the rx 1500 nimh battery all stuffed around the fuel tank. Im also using a saito 180 and pulled all the servos as far forward as possible. I still had to add about 3 oz of lead of front, but thats better then some ppl have had to do(close to a pound or more). My CG is 110mm and I used Sierra Giant retracts. They work great. I dont know whats available in europe though for retracts besides robart.

I have mine posted on video at http://rcuvideos.com/item/GY9QPRVH4GRVJ2QP

I lost a wheel during take off and had to land on the belly. Give right rudder on take off. Shindin retracts. The Saito 1.50 can idle in the basement. Don't try to land her in idle give some clicks but not much.

I also have a p47 1.20 size. This model also needs 2 clicks on landing full flaps down! The saito engine fly's the aircraft fast!!!It is good!!!Looks great on the air.I can not wait to see it on the air!!So the cg fits perfect at 110mm?

depends on your flying preference I guess. Manual says 116mm, but I, as well as many others, prefer to move it forward a little to make sure its stable. Once you fly it, if you think its a little nose heavy, you can move it back some. I wouldnt go further back then 116 though, and not further forward then 100.

Cg as by the manual. 110-120 mm. Mine at 115 mm. You go forward and you'll need more lead and doesn't fly better.
