Hi All,

I'm ready for a T-rex after crashing my Night ranger 3d several times and now feel like I want to spend more dough. Anyways looking for a really good deal on a T-Rex XL CCPM with motor and ECS. I like the BLING of the SE but I can just barley do forward flight. I'm a master of hovering. If anyone knows where to find a great deal let me know. Your help is always appreciated

other than used, I think helihobby.com is the best. Make sure you get your gyro along with that motor and esc.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else out there can chime in at any time. What did you pay for your T-Rex XL or your SE?

I bought the complete package from helihobby. It was 625 I believe, and it came with everything.

I think you can get a better combo deal thru RC-EXPERT on Ebay...They ship from Hong Kong, but use Fed Ex so It only takes 1-2 days. I had good, quick service with them.

1-2 days from hong kong It takes that long minimum to get through customs. Then Fed Ex will send the recipient a bill for customs fees.

That's what I thought too...but thru first hand experiencem that's how long it took for me to get my Trex (2 business days from Hong Kong, and If I didn't live in the sticks it probably would have taken one day).

Why do people keep ordering from vendors who have a LOOONG list of service complaints?

Here is a list of reputable vendors:
http://www.modefosheli.com/
http://www.grandrc.com/
http://www.allerc.com/

I got mine from:

MTA Hobbies in Torrence, CA.

He is reasonably priced and semi-local for you. You won't have to pay California Taxes and shipping (and time) is reasonable. Besides, you can get to know him if you attend many of the So.Cal / AZ / NV events.

He highly recommended my 450SE to me at the AMA Show and I am eternally grateful. Give him a call. He'll be there when you need him. Tell him I sent ya. Don't know if that will help at all but it will put a smile on his face cause he knows how much I love my T Rex.

I bought my 450XL CDE from Helihobby, and I bought my 450XL HDE from RC-Expert. I got the heli from RC-expert quicker than the one from Helihobby!! There were no customs charges either.

Helihobby has about the best selection, and the best website of them all, but only offering US mail as a shipping service.......that's something they need to work on I think. They have competitive prices too.

I ordered almost all my stuff from Joe at www.tech-mp.com

If you want GREAT customer service, I would highly recomend him! He ships everything quickly and is willing to answer any question you may have (via e-mail). I'm pretty sure I will do business with him for all my needs! I believe he is a small business dealing in mostly T-Rex stuff and I'm a firm believer in purchasing from smaller businesses.
