Hey to the MAXLST, nice vid!!! so I posted the "how long should a glow plug last" and I haven't got any replies, what do you think? a OS #8 plug on a Mach .28 should run for how long??

I change McCoy MC8's after about ~3/4 to a gallon, even if they don't need it, because I've had one loose the filament into the engine and ruin it once, otherwise they should last a while on a properly tuned engine.

Yes if a glow plug does not make it a gallon on a big block I would suspect some tuning issues...................

You should try the Werks pipe for standard engines in the LST...

I posted this in the other thread but this is where LST racing video goes!!

This is completely raw footage. The guy who pitted me ran out on the track and snagged some video before and after he fueled me.

You will need this free DivX player to play this higher res version.

I noticed that you have the LRP .28 spec 2 engine on your LST? I have been looking to upgrade my LST engine. What can you say about the LRP?

The LRP Spec 2 is the best engine I've owned on a LST. Easy to tune, excellent fuel mileage and wide torque power-band, it's all good.

sweet vid, couple questions.

1: I noticed everybody was running a wing on their trucks, also noticed the extreem amount of control that they had in the air. If I want that kind of control in the air do I need to run a wing?

2: What was kind of trucks were running and with what engines?(I dont need a compleat rundown just some examples)

Thanks.

Its also really cool to see how well you guys get along on the drivers stand. Too many times have I seen people get angry at eachother while driving....that really makes for a crappy race and atmosphere.
