tried searching around for info, but only managed to find a few post and most claim that it is quite heavy. As the lhs is giving a reasonable price on this plane(some makes like gp are overpriced here), I thought this plane might make a good freestyle plane. Thinking of matching it with a magnum 91rfs, will it be too heavy? Enough power? Servos will be hitec 325hb on aileron, 475hb on elevator and 635hb on rudder. Is it enough servo? Or is there a better alternative around?

i have had one and was not that impressed by it, I had a Satio 91 in it and it was still very tail heavy I flew it that way but it was not very stable and was almost impossible to trim the elevator properly I had JR 539 servos adn the auw was 6.5lbs. It hovered ok but control response was not brilliant. Snaps, blenders and flat spins were good KE was hopeless until I cut some of the elevator away to get more rudder throw it would then hold it quit well but had a large pull to the undercarriage. Once it was balanced properly it became not a bad flyer but was no longer any good for 3D.
I would suggest the ESM freestyle rush I have also had one of these with the same engine and servos and it was a great freestyle\3D\pattern plane it is the best 40 size model for allsorts of flying I have ever flown and after over 150 flights I finally buried it and got the kantna to replace it but was very disapointed in it and sold it after a dozen flights.

a saito 91 on the rush? I bet it was a rush to fly it. After some reading and advise from people, I guess I should steer away from this plane.
