i have the mgt 4.6 and i was running 30% nitro and the price jumped so i switched to 20% trinity witch i think is i pretty decent fuel and it smells better to it does chock you out when your adjusting it while its running

but you deff. got to retune now and it would be a good idea to change the glow plug

I agree, changing nitro fuel% will cause you to have to retune, also rule out the glow plug and change to a new one. I have had issues where the glow plug was slightly bad and would cause fuel to load up in the cylinder and not fire out all the way and cause the blubbing, backfireing effect.

Come to think of it, that was my exact problem with my Axial .28. Changed the plug, all probs were gone!

okay i'm going to try some dual steering servos on my MGT and i have already read the dual steering article on the MGT forum and i just need to know a couple of things, like were do i get another adjustable turnbuckle that was used on the second servo? its like a mini turnbuckle, i just need a link like on tower. And on mounting, do you just measure the stock servo position and just match it up on the other side? and yeah i'll ask some more when they come to me but dual steering servos is gonna be SICK!!! I'm excited for having over 300 oz/in steering capacity!!!

The trucks doing pretty good. The motor seems to stilll get a little warm, and the MMM's fan turns on after about 5-8min of running, so I still have some bugs to work out, but wow, the torque is awesome!!! I'm also using a custom 55t spur that a Swedish friend made for me. I also have a 58t, but it's too big for my mount! The motor can't back away from the spur enough to even fit the pinion and spur together, the spur overlaps the pinion!!!

I tried to get vids yesterday, but they came out too dark, but it might not be until the weekend until any vids are posted.

Guys, this may have been asked before. Is the Thunder Tiger and Team Associated models the same pieces? Especially the Thunder tiger MT A4 S24 and MGT 4.6. Why is the cost so different? What are the differences if any. Please help

The two trucks are exactly the same. The price difference is in the brand as Team Associated buys the truck from Thunder Tiger but needs to make money too, so they charge a little more.

I have the Hobbico CS-150 Std Digital High Torque MG from tower hobbies. It's strong, and IMO the best bang for your buck.

This will put out 190oz/in at 6volts!!! And for $35 comes with a nice warranty. I love mine, turns the wheels on amost every surface!

IDK. The truck just happens to weigh like twice as much as other MT's, so the motors aren't exactly liking the truck...

I'm trying to sell the MGT now, and I'm going to get a lighter Truggy. I'm looking at the Casters, the ST-1, and the 8ight-t now. Just need the money.

Hey, 2000 posts!!!

you should definitly look into the casters.
Great qaulity, and if you wait they will be releasing the new fusion truggy.
