were does that mount? i looks like it goes to the bumper but my bumpers are kinda crappy so i dont know if it could go there. i also fixed my fuel problem. the fuel tube inside was split so i took that tube out and replaced it with some new fuel line.

nice truck badboy i see you have proline shocks do you have your stock shocks still i just blew appart 2 of them.

yes, it mounts on the bumper. but right on the center of the bumper.

wouldnt it be better to attach it to the chassis, though? it would probably hold up to the impacts better. but then again the bumper can flex and give a little whereas the chassis wont.

The pins keep coming out? remove the cvd pin and if u can get your hand on a dremel with a small sanding tube, make a flat spot in the center of the pin, align flat area of the pin to the set screw use blue loc tite.

Thanks, that is not a bad idea, just make the center pin have a deeper flat spot. Thanks, anything other you guys have done?

i think this is a great design, from my experience with it. i don't have any comparisons... but this was has been excellent.
the guy i bought this off, got excellent reviews for it in "RC Driver Magazine", and claims to have them sold all over the globe. here's the link to his auction on ebay, and the link to the review.

You could also use some heat shrink tubing around the outside of it to help keep the pins in place or use CVD boots. I like the boots because they also keep the dirt out of the CVDs. My CVD boots are made by Dynamite, but Hotbodies also has some for a Savage that will work.

im allways breaking stuf now that i know i can fix anything for free. so earlier i was driving and i broke a shock tower. took it off put some of my little metal strips on screwed them up nice and reassembled. while my shocks were half off i decided it would be a good time to put some fuel tubing around the shaft so they will not bottem out and i could jump more. it works great. after if fixed it up i went outside and drove. the shock tower held up good. i was doing some nice front flips. it was awsome!
