Although you might have to buy new shocks when you want to change oil weights....

I'd reccomend you just buy the FT alu shock caps, they're not that expensive.

You can't use anything smaller than a 49 tooth spur or else the flywheel hits the trans case. If you really want to use the 46 tooth spur, you have to use a 18 tooth clutch bell.

i was looking at my truck real close tonigt and it seems like im going to have some problems coming my way. i think ill need a new input thing for the front, some new drive shafts, and to fix the screws with the stripped heads holding all of that stuf in place. the thing with the gpm titanium drive shafts was that the pin in the one end is not exactly in the center so it is chewing up at the input. im figuring on about at least $35 to fix it all up when its broke.

You don't want to tighten the nut except to eliminate slop.. If you tighten it to much you will create drag on the brakes

If you need more stopping power, replace the spring with a piece of fuel tubing.. Roughly the same size as the spring

If you still want more braking power after swapping the spring for fuel tubing, use a high torque servo for the throttle/brake.

I am a little confused, the link for wildhobbies said that the mgt had dual disc brakes, maybe i got jipped and only got a single disc, also the muffler looked a lot different, was that a hopped up model?

That pic from wildhobbies is a proto type.. So in a way we all got jipped.. not just you. The proto has some great features that didnt make it into production..

Those "great features" were probably dropped for a reason, thats what prototypes are for. Just because it may look better doesn't necessarily mean it IS better.

I doubt Thunder Tiger and Associated would have intentionally made the final production truck any worse than the prototype/s.
