Anyone-I am planning on using Retracts in the Pica 1/6 Mustang I`m building.I have never done this before and I`m looking for advice on which retracts to use to make instalation as simple as possible-I`m sure there are threads somewhere on this subject but, I can`t find any as of yet.I am thinking on using the Robart 622s and have ribs cuttout more or less the fit these with dimensions taken from Robart drawings .I have not bought the units yet and am seeking advice--Maybe someone has some photos? .It looks like it`s going to be a tight instalation.Any help will be much appreciated .
Thanks

I don't know if these are any help. This is the set up with the Robarts in my Pica. I'm refinishing the plane as we speak. Mike

Yep 622's . I've had then for so long I had to check the web site @ Robart. I really like them and have never had a problem. If memory serves they have a set of drawings for the Pica this way you can modify the ribs as nesseary. Hope this helps. Mike

Hi - could you confirm the span of the Pica Mustang featured here - I have a set of plans for a "B" model of around 72" span and have been puzzling over the retracts solution - RCMIKET, are those units mechanical or pneumatic?
cheers
Rick

Pneumatic retracts and the Span is 74", weight around 14LBs when completed-4"dia wheel per plans-I`m using a Super Tigre G2300 (1.4 cu.in ) for power.

thanks Wulfmann - sounds like the same size approx as my plans - I'm planning 1.2 cu.in size motor but cannot decide between a Magnum 120 2 stroke or an SC120FS four stroke - any suggestions?
