Hey, now there's an idea.

Olds, if you try changing the timing, please let me know how it compares to the fireball.

I treid it and I havent noticed any change. Im runing flat bottom blades right now, I cant get my sym to balance out. I ran it about $10 min with a fully charged lipo. it seemed to be just as sluggish as before. I only got the back plate to turn about 1/8 inch and I had to loosen the tabs that hold it back together. Im sure its a worn out 9 tooth motor. Unless theres something else wrong im just going to fly it until the fireball gets here, then ill put it in.

My fireball showed up yesterday so I took the 5min to make the change. The heli is back to normal. Normal for me anyway. Ill never go back to the stock motor. The fireball was $10 shipped, so thats even cheaper than buying it from my lhs, Ill have to order one for a backup that way ill always have one. I havent researched any other motors but at $50 for some of them ill stick with what I got. Have any of you Changed your motor yet? Is so what did you go with?

Glow Itried this motor with the 15 amp controler and a 9 tooth pinon, my motor seems too hot and the battire seems to run out to fast. How did you set yours up.

JUST moute dit and soldered the wires. Im running a 9tooth pinion. I flew it today for about 7-8min and the motor or battery never got warm. When my last fireball started to get warm I just watched it, and once I noticed it was almost to hot to touch, it quit, It accually melted the plug at the 4n1. But nothing yet with the new motor.

I'am Sorry, I was talking about the h&n 36s brushless that Megaglow Z recmended on the first page of this thread.
It preforms verry well, but I think it draws too many amps in my setup.
