yes it does pull to the gear not too bad tho put 2 washers under each of the bottom standoffs vertically the thrust is perfect now i just need a little more right thrust

oh nice! yeah i've been doing the same... so can you hover so its neutral now or do you still have to hold up elevator? i put in R thrust and its perfect but had to do it twice, put in a lot of up thrust but it still does it(pull to gear)... I didn't want to put in too much.... did you notice any other differances with the upthrust besides the hovering? good to talk to someone else 3Ding the cap.

well my uplines are uplines now and it doesnt jump down when i hit the gas stuff like that very good plane when you resolve the thrust troubles as for it still pulling to the gear i figure its tendancy of caps with the high horizontal stab but i do notice once it gets locked in that goes away just keep trying you'll get it

Erikpmort is yours a DA-50 as well Ill be ussing a Evolution 58 and its a lot heavyer than the DA. In my Ultimate i had the rudder servo in the tail as well as both batteries and the regulators and switches the only thing up front was the RX the throttle and choke servos. and i still added a fish weight or 2 to the tail however I was going tail heavy. I like my planes on the touchy side and a tail heavy plane slows down faster

i have the 3W-75 but mine is the 91" if yours is the 85" you might be looking at rudder servos in the tail, ask tom he did the 91" with the evo but might have used the evo for the 85" too...

well all the parts are on the bench and the plane left STEVENS POINT,
WI, US 10/09/2006 7:30 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY So im gonna have a bird to fly soon. Im sure someone will have some input on this if not im sure ill find a spot for everything. but knowing where the rudder servo will go is a real plus I would like to have it in the ussual place if at all possable.

I have a H9 33% Cap 232 and hated it, until I dropped the weight from 26.5lbs to only 22.6lbs. The biggest drop in weight came from swapping out the 3W 100 B2 in favor of the 3W 80 xi single. Almost all of the bad flying tendencies went away. However do not give up on your plane WH makes good stuff. I improved the hovering tremendously by adding more right thrust and a little upthrust. Adding the upthrust got me off the continuous up elevator in a hover and also the bad coupling to the belly in KE. These Caps in general have to be tweaked quite a bit sometimes but patience will reward you with a great flying plane. Do not give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
