it goes really well handles fantastic i would really recommend it.
ive fitted bearings to all the hubs and steering posts.
it is really a great car.
changing these parts made the otherwise tight parts really free.
i also replaced the turnbuckles for titanium ones.

I figure all of us can use this thread to post our SB Sports. Here's mine.

New pics of my updates. I got a new Novak 5800 system, dirt hawgs, and a spektrum dsm system. I also upgraded a lot of parts to the pro versions. My old sb sport is right above this post.

Not too sure. I've heard that it was similar to 10.5 turns. Don't quote me on it, though. I do know that the torque is very good and top speed will be in the low 30's. It leaves me wanting a little more top speed. I think a novak gtb system it the way to go. I will be getting a 5.5 or 6.5 velociti motor in the near future. This motor will most likely end up in a stampede or other basher.

Hi everyone.

The 5800 motor in 4wd is compariable to a 12 turn motor or in some cases a really hot 19 turn .

For your SB V1s, do you have the FAQ that goes over alot of mods you can do to get the most performance. If not, contact me.

Any of you guys out there with a V1 need to go over your drivetrain with a fine tooth comb before going brushless. I run the 4300 with the Sintered Rotor in my V1 and had to tune it alot. The sintered rotor carries alot more torque and harder braking. I run 3 shims on the right side of the rear diff and a 2-1 combo in the front (facing the rear of the buggy). I run the slipper semi tight, with the largest spur and a 23 tooth pinion. The diffs are really tight and smooth (lots of TLC when assembling). Just practicing in my backyard I'm getting alot of speed out of the buggy. I think I may need a one-way in the front, because on jumps I feel like the car is binding the drivetrain on a nose-over landing.

I'm now running a mamba max and nemisis blue 6s in my V1. The diffs are shimmed and boiled. I also added 3/8" brass collars to the outdrives. I also coat the ring and pinion gears with dry teflon powder to keep away dust.

No problems after almost two months now. I had an SS5800 system in it for over a year with no problems. I'm still on the same diffs.
