Did shorten pipe some as I also thought was a bit long.Installed pressure nipple at the"fat"of the pipe, installed fuel filter and filter on pressure line to prevent crap in the tank.Did fire it(with water running through the head,SOUNDS GREAT!!! This .45 has some gump!!! Gonna try a quick run Sat...next ?????? Should I tilt the strut down a tad since the pipe sits so high to balance getting on plane, keepin the nose down a bit??

Nope. First see how it runs. Negative trim on a cat is recipe for submarine tendencies. Rather keep the strut square and drop in vertical a bit. Will get the nose down quickly. And ditch the filter on the pressure line. Keep one on the fuel line.

Have you worked on the hull at all or is it still like it came from the supplier?

Did get the bottom scuffed up a little, all the flotation I could crammed into every hole possible and glued some on canopy, lines zip-tied,pulled everything out and put back with loc-tite,made new gasket for box..jus goin through all the chit.Should have my fail safe today, then pretune(with constant cool water from well running through head)then head for the water to do a few test runs.Center of prop level with lowest part of the boat to start out with.

hi 1badmaro.i use %30 nitro byron fuels and prather 220 prop with that pipe on my tc31.u can find this pipe in below adress and i definitely suggest it

http://www.justengines.co.uk/acatalog/Tuned_Pipes.html.  this is the address where i bought this pipe.in this page "20 purple pipe" is mine and only explanation about pipe is "For 21 Engines (use on 37 & 38 for high rpm use)"

The Prather 220 works OK on this boat but try an Octura M-445 or Zippkit's 444 and you'll see more speed.

Very neat. Hope you have flashing light on the hatch or it will vanish from sight on the water.
