Well, the bottom line going to the carb where it is connected to the tank leaks on mine. Use wire and twist it around it tight, thats what I did to prevent it from leaking.

Not the perfect prop yet but the Octura M-445 is close.

Yea, but it has be sharpened and balanced and the boat has to be running real good for it to work. At least on 20% that is. Mine has trouble revving up with it. And when it does it seems to catch air and flip.

Perfect prop for the Kat is 225...but not on 20%...Mike has tested many props on the TC 31...and I would say hes got the fastest Kat and master a perfect prop. But we hope in a couple day it will be our Kat A Twisted Kitty sounds good to me.

One problem that you'll find is that out of the box, the strut is too high. It helps to get the engine to wind up but at the expence of cavitation.

Here might be a better cure for your leak. The wire may cut into your line due to vibration. If you will cut off a piece of fuel 1/8 in length, then place the piece of tubing over the end of a closed pair of needle nose pliers. Open the needle nose to stretch out the tubing, then take your fuel line and place it thru the center of your stretched out tubing and release the needle nose. You should have your 1/8 over the very end of your fuel..then connect it to the tank...no leak you should find.

I agree with ron check you strut depth...this is critical to run proper. but if you are blowing out quickly, you might want to throw some negative on the strut to point the nose down a bit. And I would boost my nitro a bit...Mike runs 40% and does very well.

I have used about 20 different strut positions, from all the way up to all the way down to everywhere inbetween. I have also adjusted the angles. Nothing seems to make it run quite right.
I tried zip-tie, didn't work to well, still leaked. Th wire has done the trick.

Well I am still out of a boat at this time. I got my rudder and attempted to put it on, but the rudder arm was also damage when the rudder broke off. The set screw will not tighten enough to hold the rudder in place. I ordered a new arm today, so hopefully it will be in early next week, until then I will have to run my T-Maxx

Most of the people that run the TC31 have had to go to a bigger set screw because of the original striping out. These can be picked up at your local hardware store. Just retap the hole and put the new screw in. T-Max is a lot of fun too. Jerry

Has anyone put foam into the TC31 to keep it from sinking, if it flips over?

Look in the sides. Just cut up pieces of it and glue them in. I used the same stuff to seal shower doors. Nasty stuff but does the trick. Works like a charm to keep it form sinking.

Thanks for the info, I happen to have a few around the house. I am going to try them without glue. Therefore if I need to remove them I can. Thanks again.....

Yeah. You'd have to go back a few pages to see where one person ditched his Tiger Drive in favor of the pull-starter.
Sullivan guarantees their parts so you can contact them or Horizon Hobby about the problem.

Make sure that when you get it repaired, or if you do, grease it up. It's a must. I grease mine every once and a while. Keeps it running smooth.

Horizon will replace the the tiger drive as they have replaced two of them for me. I went to a pull start and not sorry as it works well. Quite a few people have had there tiger drives go bad. As far as adjustment, there isn't any I'm aware of. Just keep it greased good. Jerry

When you talk about greasing the tiger drive, do you mean the part in the boat are the handheld portion. I have not figured out how to get into the handheld portion.

OK, The gear mesh must be all wrong. The problem is that you have to set it without looking at it. So it is quite hard to get proper mesh. I have done so ONCE when I first got the TC31. No Problems. Just a tick of play in the gears and some heavy grease....you'll be all set.

GEAR MESH. Thats it. Good luck.
