Well I got this TC 31 that had some hull damage so it needed to be fixed. I Fixed it using some boat fiberglass resin, sanded it down completly, primed, painted, clear coated, waxed. I also painted the inside with some rubberized black paint for extra protection and LOOKS. I 've also done pretty much every mod located in the very long thread (moved the pressure line off the manifold and on to the pipe, removed head shims, ported out header to match the motors for even flow, cut down the rudder for less drag etc). I also sealed the gas even if it didn't leak but just in case. When i received it, the rear hatch that holds the canopy on was also broken so i made this peice of aluminum with added air vents. Now, the funny part, all these countless hours of work and now i have to sell it because i need the funds to get a new boat cover for my real boat, LOL. Anyway, here are some pics. Nothing special but i do like how the rear piece turned out. thanks

I like the way the boat looks. What kind of paint is that on the inside. I have white nitro resistant lusterkote and with about ten costs in it is still peels a little. And what is a bs 2 speed. Is there a trans for these boats now. I should have my .46 in a couple of weeks and have some in action photos from lake Powell

The canopy was broken when i got it so i decided to make that piece of aluminum. I didn't plan on going all the way across but then i remembered that i wanted to add air vents. I remember reading somewhere in this thread that it would really weakend the canopy if i just drilled some more holes so why not do it this way. I know its not much more air but each hole is even bigger than the original two and now there's 6, plus it didn't turn out all that bad. thanks

my personal speed recorded with gps 48-51 mph, pretty consistent and stable,, got couple of vids in youtube,,, just my observation the tc31 can still handle few more mph.

thats good thats what i am looking for. i was looking up the specs on the .21 max and .46 max they both have the same horsepower but at different rpms the .46 has 2.5hp@28000 and the .21 has 2.5hp@33000 the higher rpm means higher speed so it would seem that it would be smarter to get the .21 or does the .46 have more torque

hp is nice but torque is the answer with boats i would go with the .46 the torque will also allow you to spin larger props

just on an aside, the shims in the 32,at least on mine were 2 brass and one aluminum. the brass ones can come out but the aluminum is there for clearance.
