Hi everyone !! I have a tc31 and have been reading this forum for over a year for all the awesome advice and tricks, I am wondering if anyone has removed hard mounting of stuffing tube going into boat and used silicone or something to make a sort of flexable mounting through bottom of boat to make easier movement for struts adjustment without stressing bottom of hull ?

When you remove the stuffing tube replace it like the gas guys do. Only glass inside the boat. None of the support piece between the hull and stuffing tube. This frees up the tube to be moved up and down. that said once you have the ideal setting for the boat you very seldom have to move the strut up and down.

Hey guys,

i did another experimental set-up using .67 J-pipe on OS .46, and it works ,,way back the Towerhobbies recommended .67 pipe for the OS .46 max motor kinda confusing then, i thought it was a typo error but i think they're right.

ok, the boat boat set-up OS .46 max motor, prather 245 prop, .67 J-pipe, 20% nitro and garmin gps indicating 48.3-48.8 mph.

boat was running wet and starboard heavy, didn't have a chance to adjust the trim..

next plan run it with 45 - 65% nitro, might play around with other props, balance the boat the give a little bit trim for a good ride.

try to post pics and video.
