X33....use a blow dryer to soften the adhesive and the decals should come right off with a nice slow pull, then use lighter fluid or something like it to remove any residue left over.

Thanks
Ka350kaptain and SinCity.
Confident now that it will be a simple decal removal, not a major refinishing ordeal.
Thanks Again.

Jerj, I unfortunately don't know the part number, it is featured somewhere in the 82 pages of threads in here...

Meanwhile, I received my new 4" rudder kit from TopSecretBoats and installed it over the weekend. Here are a few pics. The two cooling lines is one for the engine head and one for the exhaust header cooling sleeve. See post #1898 with my old rudder set-up.

The rudder is the 4" kit with two internal water pick-ups and a BEAUTIFULLY detailed mount. It cost $48,80 without shipping. I needed to cut off about 1cm or 1/3" off the bottom to reduce drag and get it closer to stock length and do a slight modification to the servo-arm. The mounting holes didn't correspond with the stock mount's and I therefore needed to fill them up with plastic marine putty and drill new holes for the new mount. It's as sharp as a knife with a perfectly squared off trailing edge. I haven't had it in the water yet (winter in South Africa)...

My hull never cracked and I've been running it quite hard. Please post some pics of the cracked section. I only run Prather P225 and P235 props, they seem to work well enough for me...
