Do any of you know the AUW of the evo 26gt. Also, the AUW of the 1.20AX with the muffler. I'm hoping to find the weight of the evo with a small ignition battery or I can weigh one and add it myself.

I also wonder if this plane will need a smaller gas tank for the evo.

niteman - Yep, the Evolution 26GT is what I ordered (should have double checked by typing again ) I have recently switched over to a Spektrum Tx and Rx system, so I'm going to try Y connectors first. I'm hoping I can fine tune the digitals before I ever put them in the plane, and then with the Spektrum it should make a nice smooth system I hope. I presently have spektrums in a Twist3D, a Twist60 and H9 US Lite 120. Love this system so far with NO problems. I thought about the LiPo batteries, but I don't want to take the batteries out fo the plane to charge them (or at least that's what I would assume you should do). The 2100mAh NIMH aren't all that big or heavy I don't think anyhow

Macommy - afraid I can't help yet with the AUW of the power system, but when it all comes in I'll start sticking the parts and pieces on the scale and will get back with it. That will be with the wraparound inverted muffler and the 2100 mAh NiMh.

Ok Mark or Rocco, have they cleared Customs yet

Rule one: No matter what else happens, fly the airplane.
Rule two: Fly it until the last piece stops moving.
You know you've landed with the wheels up when it takes full power to taxi.

GPutt33,
I hope this combo works good for you, I'll be looking forward to seeing what it weighs when you get it.

Looks like July is a good month to order. Will hold till YOU get the first batch and will read the reports of the plane. If OK will get mine later. As the proverb goes, let's hope is not a case of "fools rush in..." as it was with diferent other models out there.
So far is one of the best Yaks on the market.
Since the planes are "on the boat", is that a rowing boat from China? or the Captain lost the heading?

It's the slow boat from China. I do not know of any fast boats from China, do you?

The yaks are still on the water but we expect to have them around the 3rd or 4th week of this month. I will post here when they are docked and will let you know when they are ready to ship.

I wish this plane would hurry up and ship.. but then I have to make up a good excuse for having another plane in the basement. The other parts are showing up from day to day... still waiting on servos, battery regulator, spinner, and oh yeah, the plane!

I had a good excuse when I sprang for the 50cc extra, but the best excuse I can find for this one right now is "I need a plane for the
