Well after reading about how the NR3D and 22E were pretty much identical...I took the plunge for the 22E, and I must say I'm quite impressed!

after I opened the box and got it out I looked it over. I was impressed by the tail motor not being one of those tiny dc motors you see in hummingbirds (it was more of a mid sized motor). I had a DD setup for it, but was reluctant to install it because the stock setup looked so good.

The first adjustments I made was I removed the 4in1,brushed motor, battery, and put the tx on the shelf

I replaced them with:
my 9cap
century 4100 kv lightning motor (which is close to the himax 2015-4100)
gws PG03 gyro
CC 35 amp brushless controller (which is overkill, but I didn't want to program a TP15A right now)
gws ics 50 brushed esc for the tail
1500 mah 3 cell kokam HD pack
futaba 6ch micro receiver

I got everything in and fired it up for the test flight, and all I can say is......NICE!!!!
this thing is as stable as my ark 400 and about half the size!!!

If anyone is interested I'm more than happy to share my tx settings, incase you want to try a different tx.

and if anyone needs a tx and 4in1 I'm asking $45 shipped for both

If you were going to replace all the electronics, wouldn't it have just been cheaper to buy the helicopter barebones?

I cant remember....I think you can just use a servo lead, but I'm not sure.
you might also need some resisters
