Any opinions on the kit? Would/have you used a gas engine? or is it better for glow? Robart makes retracts for this kit for about $200, they any good? Any opinions, areas I can find reviews and some picture would be great, thanks.

Nice first scale plane. Flies well with a G23. No bad habits. Could use flaps which is an easy mod if done when building the wing.

What Mike mentioned in the previous post is right on the money. The Zenoah G-23 is a perfect match for this plane and the magneto engine will help when it comes time to balance the plane. The Robart retracts fit well but I would recommend some additionl reinforcement in the wing. The AT6 has split flaps and this kit does not have them stock but they are an easy addition and they will make this plane a great all around Warbird if you build them. Without flaps the plane lands hot and has a bad tendancy to bounce. With flaps this problem does not exist. Lots of guys will tell you it's not very scale but I assure you everyone thast looks at this plane will know exactly what it is. This is a great plane to start with and I think you would be very satisfied if you add the flaps. Good Luck!

Well, both the orther guys are right on the money
Flap would be a good addition, The Robart retracts I have in mine allways worked great, be sure to get the adjustable air flow valve,

Also, one thing to look out for!!
The "nyrod" set up that comes stock with the plane is iffy to me
I saw one go in because of this nyrod failure.
I have a Quadra 40 and put the elevator servos in the rear of the fuse. The plane balanced out great with this set up

All in all a fun plane,
Take a look

Unfortunatly a battery failure caused it to hit the dirt, I haven't fixet it yet, but will soon

Good luck
