From the picture no, but it's still in the design stages so who knows what to expect. Also, rumor has it that it is coming supplied with a brushless motor and ESC. I also saw somewhere that they are coming out with an electric raptor, no conversion nessecary, supposedly about the size of Century's Swift.

Looks to be a .50 size electric. Not bad. We'll have to see how it competes against the likes of the Mikado and e-raptors though.

Given Align's track record, I have high hopes for this birdie .

That's what I was thinking, the t-rex really revolutionized the 400 class, I cant wait to see what they have up their sleeves on this one.

My T-Rex is okay for a micro, but based on the Align parts quality there is no way I would buy a larger heli from them. Thunder Tiger has them smoked on quality hands down. For a larger electric I think I'd get a Logo.

Th batteries for large electrics still cost a small fortune as well.

I can imagine LiPos for this bird will be 150+ for some real power... Still it looks nice, if i had some extra to invest into starting electric heli flight, this would definately be on the list.

Personally, I think the pricing for the electronics (lipoly batts, motors & ESC's specifically) for this size bird needs to come down a bit in the market place and stabilize before this size heli is affordable to the vast majority. It can be the coolest and badest heli going but for the average pilot to afford the set up that this monster will take.........all I can say is good luck! For this size bird - I'll stay with glow.

This is just my 2 cents...............
