First off I love this plane. The tracking and knife edge are unreal. I am wondering about your throws for flat spins and water falls. I used your setup for throws and expo. The ELEV seems a little strong. When I try to flat spin it flops out. Do you use a third rate for these manuvers or fly in less ELEV? I only have 5 flights on mine. I may get better but am having trouble right now.

Hi David,

Full throw depending on your CG can sometimes flop the plane out from flat spin. Reduce your throw a little. Also do your flat spins from very low throttle(almost high idle) and increase until you find the sweet spot for it. I haven't flown the 72" myself so I can't tell you where that throttle range is but I'm sure you can find out on your own. When you have lots of throw you need to take it easy on throttle for a sweet flat spin. Let me know after you tried it. Thank you for your comments on our airplane and I hope as you get to know the plane more, you enjoy it more also.

Next good weather day I'll give it try with less elevator. I was doing it at idle so the throttle is not the issue. I have the CG right where the manual suggest. I think a lot of it is my lack of time in the plane.

thanks for your time, David
