Ha, first of all, it is the rider's job to promote the bike.. No matter you win or lose, you always say, "my Hondazukiwasakima was working really well".. That's why you are a factory rider.. And after winning a championship where no one else gave him a chance (not even HRC, they were supporting Pedrosa more than Hayden, their supposedly #1 rider, but let's not get into political issue now..), what's so wrong to say that?! Trust me, it might be taken out of context like this, but if you follow his career and see how humble he is, (he did not say one bad word on how HRC and Pedrosa through out the whole deal after he got punted by his teammate one 1 round to go.. you want class act?) you'd know what I am talking about.. Anyway, no biggie, it is all good, but I am just saying don't judge the book by its cover.. 1 interview does not make a racer.. I mean, people always say things on emtion.. I mean, Rossi came out after he made contact w/ Gibernau a couple of yrs ago and told the press that Gibernau will NEVER win again, etc. etc. I still think Rossi is a class act.. (he was the first to congratulate Hayden after the win on track..) Not so class act? Pedorsa (but probably can't blame him, should blame his mentor / manager, LOL, brain washed him since he was young..), Biaggi (probably one of the most talented rider, but just give up so easily and always complain and complain and complain.. LOL...), etc. Anyway... quote:
ORIGINAL: bIGmiK I was watching the interviews after the race and Hayden said "Well what can I say, the better man and rider won, I knew I could do it". Not Cocky? Well whatever floats your boat, but I'll make my own conclusion He also said something about how he though Rossi was better than cracking under the pressure.
