When is the maiden? I cant wait. I think it needs some sort of sponsor or a theme. To bad nobody makes a "Flying wood butcher" mascot.

Successful maiden flight today. 3 clicks of down and that was it. Cardens fly great , this plane is like its on rails and lands real easy without any wing drop at slow speeds. DA 100 started and ran great also , little rich fon but ok. So I guess now its time to start on my 40% Edge.

PS. one small problem, I dropped the transmitter on the wing , just a few ugly dings.

fxd my cg is at the front of the wing tube. I would start a 1/2 inch futher forward of this at first . With the cg more rear it will float by on landing , not to good for first flights. Also had the cg at the rear of the tube , this is for the young boys with brass balls and faster hand eye cordination.

Great flying plane Kent. I hope the Carden Yak will fly as nice as your Cap.

I noticed that a lot of the Carden CAPs have the rudder servos in the tail and a few have them on a pull-pull system. Is it possible to do a pull-pull system with a DA 100 and still get it to balance?

I to have noticed some caps with the servos in the rear. These also have about a pound of lead up front to bal. My rudder servos are bumped up to the wing tube , per Carden. I have 5 ozs of batterys just under the turtle deck. The plane bal. with the batterys further forward before I painted the cowl. Got to get enough paint on to make it look like glass you know
