Dago-Red: When you buy your plywood for the wing bolts, try SIG 1/16" air-craft. This is thinner than the 1/4" they use in the Somethin' Extra for the fire-wall & gear block. Good Luck! big max 1935

Yep, I just knew Midwest would come through - and now I'm getting the urge to put my Citabria back together - oh, it was Midwest's fault....any plane that hits the ground with me at the sticks....well it sure wasn't MY fault

Hummmm, 4-5 hours of work and she should be airborne - that was one great flying bird....LOVED those high speed passes, cut the throttle and just LISTEN to the whistle as she flew by....sweeeeeeeet!

Jerry

if one has a prob with me TELL ME PLEASE i would like to know.
I see alot of people dont see it my way of seein things, but if you were mocked , on the net, in life continously, made fun continously, people laugh at the way your planes look, the way you fly. You to would also start to get a little upset.Please--im trying not to start a war--lets please get back to my plane and not talk about me---the "raging" teen. Im sorry, its just me when aperson talks about me, and they dont even know me. thnks you.

First, you branded yourself, not me, I don't even know ya. Just wanted you to appreciate tailskid's remark. It was about himself!!Now, after you follow these threads awhile, you'll notice a pattern of crash stories setting fault at: radio failure, batt. failure, manufactures defect, on and on and on, READ "any plane that hits the ground with me at the sticks, must be someone Else's fault" sure looks like he's poking fun at himself to me. I'm sorry you feel picked on about every thing but thats not the case here. Take the good input from these guy's, rebuild and have fun.

Dago, calm down....I have no problem with you. I only meant that I was unaware that I was conversing with a teenager.....

That's life on the web I suppose....A teen has an entirely different perspective than, say a fully empoyed adult......

Merry Christmas, and enjoy your new wing, and be thankful that MIDWEST was gracious enough to submit to this kind of thread and reward you with a replacement wing.....

Make no mistake, they didn't have to.......

Mr. Moderator.....

This thread has obviously served it's purpose....

There's no point to continuing it.......

Dago Red... I saw your plane go down at the Midcounty RC field...

There is nothing funnier than seeing a ugly plane shed its wing and shoot straight down into that swamp to the left! We all had a great laugh!

Are your shoes dry yet?

Lucky you... it didnt go the other way... into the tank farm to the right...

Why dont you stick to ARF's? Ya goofy kid...

Well yesterday, the Citabria had a crash. I had it a a Toys for Tots funfly. I hadnt jerked the plane around much just hung it on the prop, rolls, and a knife edge loop. then flew around the pattern a few time when it became the biggest lawn dart I ever seen, the fus and wing separated. the plane crashed in a swamp and the wing outside the swamp in a tree. We had to walk through 6-8 inches of water that was frezzing. the bambo had slowed the plane and the water slowed it down--just tore the firewall and 10 inches back up--10 inches back under the plane that is. the wing had the trailing edge torn from aileron to aileron. O well. Ill fix it after a while. This was an earlier post by DAGO, from his maiden flight of this plane. Crashem, sorry for the confusion and edit, OK!! I fell asleep. Old people need nap's I didn't post this to add to Dago's problem's, just that he need's to learn to give an accurate and truthful account of his stories in order to get the support he's looking for.
