Status: offline 		To all who love to watch and fly warbirds: Come to Chattanooga, Tennessee for the annual Warbird Fly-in April 21-23.

The Chattanooga Radio Control Club is hosting its annual warbird event and everything is ready to go! Come out and enjoy a very nice weekend of flying with beautiful weather and a beautiful flying site. We've recently refinished our runway with new sealant and striping and are eager to show it off.

Status: offline 		Hey guys Tim is right the new sealing and stripe on the runway looks GREAT!!!! This field just gets better and better. One thing Tim did not mention is this is a warbird fly inn open to any size warbird what ever you have fun scale, giant scale, jets(turbines will require a valid waiver), electrics anything goes as long as it is a warbird. If you have never been to a fly inn in Chattanooga come fly with us we are all about having a good time we even have an in house band for entertainment.

Status: offline 		Hey David, I really enjoyed watching your new 97" turbine jet fly. Man that sucker is cool. Just one of many warbirds that I know you will be bringing to the flyin on the Summit. It's going to be a blast seeing all the different error birds instead of the usual "just old warbirds" stuff. It will also be great for the newcomers to warbird events because they can fly their not so giant warbird. I know there are going to be some BIG planes at this event also. This will give everyone a chance to fly and enjoy the event. See you all there.

Status: offline 		Any size, any age. It can be the latest greatest jet or it can be a WW1 bipe. We are really looking forward to this open format for warbirds. It should be a great turnout sense there are no limits. I already know that there are going to be some turbine jets, some WWII birds and WWI birds. The weather has really turned mild also. Highs in the mid 70's. Looking forward to seeing here.

Status: offline 		By the way, the food at the Chattanooga flyin's is really great!! We buy our hamburger from a meat company that supplies the local restaurants. No Krystal size burgers here! The hotdogs are hugh!!!! Everything is very reasonably priced also. Our weather is just wonderful now! It was 81° today and sunny. See you warbird pilots on top of the Summit!!!!!

Status: offline 		Hey Guys here is a picture of one end of the runway to give you an idea of the size of the field and how open it is. That is a Ziroli C-47 on the runway theres plenty of room here to fly and since it is on top of a land fill you above all the trees so you have unlimited flying area.

Status: offline 		Guys, the field is looking great!!! The landing fee is $15.oo and includes lunch on Saturday. Our hamburgers are 5oz patties. No Krystal size burgers here. Hot dogs that are actually longer than the bun is. Come on up on the Summit and have a great time.
