Anyone ever see this for the 40-60inch boats? Here are a couple of photos of a new jet system for the vee hulls

Any links to websites that sell these in the USA???

I have had an MHZ jet for a few years. Works well though not as solid as the Swashdrive unit. I just carried back two Swashdrive boats from Australia for a few buddies in Mass. http://p086.ezboard.com/fjimsrcboatdockfrm2.showMessage?topicID=5271.topic Craig (Swashdrive) did an exceptional job building them and I cant imagine a better guy to deal with.

Problem with the jet drive is that you cant just throw one in any old Vee hull. They really prefer shallow vees and a shorter hull. You also loose some top end performance. The Swashdrive hull was custom made for the pump and having seen them in action I think the work was well worth it !!

Not sure about that. It is a pic of my buddy Corbins Jet. I copied it over from his post on JRCBD for those interested.

Worth noting (from the pics in the originating post). The Swashdrive jet has a trimable nozzle from the third channel. I cant say there are many jet boats running with TRIM TABS !!

Sorry but maybe my website was a little confussin on the prices, they are in $AUDollars
When you convert it $365.00 USD Which isn't a bad price cosidering what you get.
I'm not going to openly bag the MHZ jet nor boast how good our one is, just simply want to clarify the price, the decission is up to you !
But you should have a look at thrust & flow ratings a bit closer
Kindest regards
Craig

The performance of your jetsprint speaks for itself Craig. I have had the "other" pump for a while and am stopped in my tracks every time I see yours in action. In my experienced opinion the swashdrive is a work of art in both form and function !!!

Hello there;
I was just viewing that one boat,and man....thats the coolest boat I have seen yet. Ans your right;it is a badas boat.
Now,I see that you put a jetdrive in a 22" boat.I am planing on putting 2 of the graunper with the 500 motorsmini"s in my 36" deep vee hull.This is my first big project,but being a newfie I ready for the challenge.Could you give me some direction on trying to do this.Because of the hull design the jets would have to be placed in on an angle.Would this be a bad idea?;because I am concerned that I will not be able to turn the nozzles to direct the boat.I will also be installing a traxxas ev-2 esc,a JR python 2 channel digital proportttional radio control,I will be installing a water cooling system and a box for the electronics.
Could you get back to me and give me your input on this project.Let me know if I am crazy or................
Thankyou
Al
