You ask a very competitive question with the interest today in Li-Ion products for the hobby market.

Skyborn Electronics / PowerfLite brand products uses cells from 6 different manufacturers.

Our 18650 cells (approx. the same as "A" size cell) are supplied by LG Chemical, and 3 other suppliers we prefer to keep as proprietary sources.

All prismatics that we offer are also made by LG Chemical

Li-Ion Polymers are sourced from both E-Tec and Kokam.

Of great importance to our company is the quality & age of the cells. If you visit our website on a regular basis, you will find that we frequently update product offerings; some packs are new to our inventory, while we discontinue other packs because we only stock the newest cells and capacities offered by the respective manufacturers we source from. That is the best way for customers to know they are getting the latest cells in the largest capacities when they purchase PowerfLite products.

In fact, we are the only hobby Li-Ion battery supplier to offer a 90-Day Warranty on all of our battery packs because we are very selective of the type, manufacture and brand of cell. Trust this - (and Red would support this) there is a good deal of variability in quality & performance from mfgrs. That is why Sanyo has the name it does in Ni-Cds...

There are some very cheap junk Li-Ion cells that are made overseas that are best used as ballast vs. a power source for your model. We would suggest you buy any battery cell/pack from a well established hobby company- and also suggest that some of these companies that operate out of their garage might not be around in a few months, or year or two, so we suggest one stay away from these types of low-end suppliers. Remember, "you get what you pay for" applies to our hobby as well as everything else.

Finally, we always request from our suppliers, and have available to any customer, our cell specification data and test performance from both the manufacturer of the cell, as well as the performance of packs made from these cells that we offer.

Hope this Helps- Best Regards
