What spinner for Hacker C50? - 4/10/2006 8:00:39 PM

Status: offline 		I have a Hacker C50 Acro going into a Dream 110. It calls for a 2-1/2" spinner. I'd like to use something like a Tru Turn, but I don't know if these will fit the APC 18x12E prop. Do you have any experience with this?

Status: offline 		Just all up truTurn and tell them you want a spinne for an APC prop and they will cut accordingly,

Status: offline 		Also keep in mind that you don't need an aluninium spinner with an electric motor. (You are not going to use a starter.) Fiberglass, carbon, even plastic - it all works very well, often at a fraction of the price. Lighter too.

Do you know of anyone who does a plastic 89mm spinner? I am using carbon at the moment but I agree it is overkill.

ES somposites do a series in fiberglass, but they have nothing between 80 and 92mm.
3.5"=88.9mm.
Nexus Modelling Supplies do a 3-1/2" nylon spinner for £3.75. I would guess companies like Dubro make 3.5" spinners in plastic.
Maybe not your style, but probably more than good enough at 6000 rpm.
