If the helicopter flies well, more weight will only help you, not hurt you. You can always lighten it up, but it'll make the helicopter just that much more unstable. Weigh increases the overall headspeed and mass of the bird making it more stable in flight. Usually, weight on fixed pitch helicopters is a good thing (aslong as your motor is powerful enough). On a side note, i'm not sure if the pitch of the corona main blades is adjustable. If they are, you could also increase stability by reducing the ammount of pitch in them. Your corona looks really, really nice. I really dig the canopy. That must be a custom dealie? Looks alot cooler than the stock corona one. Also glad to see you replaced the ugly wire skids with some proper ones! From your second video I note you've got the antenna wire hanging out the bottom of the helicopter. That's a bad idea, even if you're only testing. It only takes a quick updraft to send the wire into the main gear and shred it, and the receiver, to bits. Believe me, I know from experience .
