Spend the extra cash to get a universal starter box is my only advice...for two reasons...firstly, when I got into buggies, i spent a lot of money on the kit and engine, so I skimped on the starter box and got one that only does 1/8th buggies. Now, I too am in themarket for a 1/10th box. I should have bought one that does 1/10th and 1/8th in the first place. Secondly, I see a lot of 1/10th starter boxes at the track which are weak. If you get one that is also intended to start big block engines, turning that little .12 in the touring car will be no sweat. Important on race day.
