That's too bad. After three years in a row, I haven't made up my mind about RCX this year though I may just cruise that way afterwards for some sightseeing.

Work has taken a toll on my photography over the last 8 months. Here are a few shots of a full scale T28 that I shot back in August.

Nice pics. Here's what I've been shooting for the last three days. Of course, last week it was RCX and the LA Zoo.

I guess right now 30D pictures go in here as well

Sascha Fliegener with his 74" EF YAK 54

As many here already mentioned, the 100-400L is a great complement to the 20D/30D when shooting RC stuff in flight. I love that combo

Welcome Daniel,
Looks good, Ive rented the 100-400L IS. Its a nice lens, I wasnt a fan of how the zoom operates on those.

My old 20D with the 100-400L

Really? Admittedly it took me some time to get used to it but then it feels damn fast

Maybe it was just the one I rented, the zoom was sticky, actually, it took two hands to do it, no way I could zoom it with the camera to my eye. But that said, I love my 70-200 F2.8 IS, I really dont need to reach out 400 so Im happy If I do Ill get a TC and still have my smooth fast zoom.

Errrm, I guess in case the ring to adjust the amount of friction was loosened completely the lens was defective in some way. Mine as well as the one of a friend falls down real fast when the ring is open and I hold the camera just a bit downward.

Of course. With 2.8 you get quite some other possibilities.

Indoor shooting is also fun, here 30D with a 85/1.8 USM
