Hey guys, i've got a few questions. This would be my first on road car, so i'm not that knowledgeable about it.

First of all, can the ADVAN courage body fit onto this car? Or do i need to use the 2wd f103 chassis style?

Also, what are the differences between The TT-01R and the TT-01? (and is it worth the price)

Love the TTs rallying they always look cool

You should have a play with windows moviemaker and try some of the effects out on there

Dont think that body would fit m8 as there different chassis, maybe with alot of modding tho..
The R version has some of the hopups already on so you save on buying the important ones to the standard TT

just looked at the specs for the body and the tt01r, and the wheelbase for the body is 10" and for the car it is 10.1"

Also, the body is standard 190mm width, and the tt-01 is just a little shy of this. I think the body would fit fine, but i am wondering about if the tt-01 might be a little tall for the body. If anybody has one of these bodies and a tt-01, then would you please check to see if it might fit. I REALLY love the look of that body, and i am excited that it is made out of thin lexan, instead of the thick heavy plastic usuall found on such detailed parts.

check your local radio shack for gp3300 packs. They are $25 each.

Don't buy them unless the pack is shrink wrapped clear, and the individual cells say gp3300 on them.

they (the cells) look like this:

Since getting this mamba max i'm spending way too much time waiting on spares Firstly the damn tyres would not stay on chromed wheels, the glue would stick to the chrome which would just lift off at anything above half throttle.

So i got new tyres and some plain plastic wheels, glued em on and headed out for some fun, after less than a minute the car seemed to have turned into a rear wheel drive ! which was fun for about ...oooh 10 seconds with this much power. Turned out the rear prop shaft cup's shaft was spinning independently of the cup.

So i've ordered some titanium ones. With any luck i might be able to give this thing a good run soon. Once it's all back together with the new prop shaft cup's ill post some pics at least.

If it then holds up to at least one battery run in my garden i'll take it to the beach for some long runs and post some video.

you can use chrome wheels, that's fine. You just have to remember to scrape the chrome off eith an exacto blade where the tire goes on, or carefully sand it off with a dremel making sure that you don't create any flat spots. You can also use plain 'ol sand paper.
