Status: offline 		Not too bad stealth it takes a while getting used to track driving alot different from parking lots lol
stick with it m8 more you practice the more you will nail it
And yeh the TT does suffer on turns alot try getting a hi torque servo for steering helps alot.
Or take the servo saver off and recenter that one worth a try
I found smooth power helps on the track once you learn the layout come into to the corners slow and smoothly out after a few laps u find slow is smooth is faster lap times

Status: offline 		i got my car back together after a catastrophic crash last night, and ran it today. now, i'm not having trouble with overheating the motor or esc, but the battery connector actually MELTED today after a full (4200 mAh) pack with my 8x2T motor. would upgrading to deans connectors help this problem?

deans are the best for high current

Status: offline 		Tamiya plugs are notorious for melting with high mah batteries. First upgrade aside from the usual bearings, ball diff and one way was to change all my plugs for deans. Lower resistance. Should stop your connection melting problem.

Status: offline 		I had that happen to me after being lazy and not changing mine out I melted mine using a 3.5 to the point it melted a hole in the chassis so the connectors battery wires and chassis needed replacing Oh well gave me an excuse to go graphite

Status: offline 		Sorry no one answered you,You can get a Novak GTB alone or a Sidewinder bl set,the sidewinder will be less that the novak an you will get a motor. I run a GTB with a 3.5 in my TT01 and had no problems since Ive bought it a year ago. Theres also the Tekin G11 if you dont want reverse thats a good one too.

But if you ask me which has a smoother power band I would say the GTB and the G11 the G11 isnt brushless. I also have a MM 7700 too but its not as smooth as the other two.

These are some of the one that I use I cant tell you of any others because Ive never used them.

Status: offline 		nick, i use the Mamba max, http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?prod=a_MambaMax_Controller and i love the adjustability it has. -and you can find it with brushless motor at about 180usd.

You can change the throttle/brake curve, lipo cut/offs,timing, power out of line/how fast it starts from standstill (saves gears) and alot more -all using your own laptop/pc !
