I just purchased a ( HPI Nitro RS4 3 18SS ).. i have ran it in as the instructions tell me and it was doing ok intill it cam to the driving part of runing it in and when a apply the breaks the engin cuts out,, im new to modles and i tried all kinds of thind so if antone has any ideas pls post thanx

Have you tried rotating the idle screw 1/4th turn clockwise? This helps mine.

lol, once again, this is probably the most overdiagnosed problem with nitros, its a noob mistake but thats fine, we have all done it (along with wondering why the engine wont start when there is no fuel) , here is what you do, take the air filter off, look down the carb (with a bright light so you can see good) turn your receiver on, and then apply full brake, now cut the trasnmitter off so the carb stays in place, now turn the idle adjustment screw (black one on front of the carb) until the opening is about 1.5-2mm, never adjust your tuning for idle, adjust idle for tuning, once this is done you can move onto tuning ti corectly, i did this with mine at first, but once you learn to adjust it you wont have the problem again
