The plane was not designed to accept a casnister but I saw one done on another RCU forum. Anyway to answer your question no it is not designed for a canister.

By Silencer you mean a canister or regular muffler. The plane is not designed to accept a canister muffler which quites the noise but if you mean a regular muffler, I would suggest a pitts style muffler like slimline. You can buy that from Desert Aircraft.
