plus if your turning the adj and theres no difference you might want to check the o-ring..is it easy to turn or has it got some resistance? any fuel leaking? I think the o=ring has 2 jobs...helps seal plus adds resistance so the adj stays were u set it..

put the hight needle to 2 1/2 out from closed and the low needle flush with the metal collar around it or a little in and lean from there but these are base settings, sounds like your way out of tune

Okay so I have a volcano sv pro. It had an os max cv-r .18 in it when I got it but the thing just would'nt start so I pulled it and put the Team Infinity motor back in it. It fired right up and I was able to drive. Does anyone have issues with there volvano not wanting to turn really well to the left but at high speed you can turn to the right and fishtail it? I have also heard you should get about 15 minutes of run time on a tank of nitro but I might get 5 minutes, any clues? What is the preferred glow plug in this engine? It now has an HPI r3 but I might swap it for an os a8 but was wondering if that would help the immediate response to the throttle. It just doesnt have that balls to wall throttle I was hoping for. Any comments would be great especially helpful ones. Thanks from a newbie.

you need to raise the idle screw a little so it doesnt stall when you hit the brake(reverse)

there is no reverse in the volcano, just brake

os a3 is a great plug

your probably running to rich, you need to lean it up a little to get better power and longer run times, be sure not to lean it too much or you can ruin the engine.

it will work but you may need to run it a little lean to keep the temps up, give it a try.
