hi i want to buy a tiger drive for my ts4n that has a .12 pro engine but the tiger drive comes in 2 different types an 8 mm clutch and a 6mm one which one do i need??

I'd guess the 6mm version, i would suspect the 8mm is for BB engines.

take the pullstart off and the oneway bearing and measure the shaft sticking out

Be wary of the packaging on the Tiger Drive. I bought one based on what the packaging said and it was the wrong size and type listed on the package and the instructions didn't match the type in the package. In-fact all the instrucitons on all the different packages were the same.

I wrote the manufacturer and after a very long delay they replied and apologized and offered to send the correct drive free. Well I never got it.

Now that being said, I know a person who has one and it seems to work like a charm (on the correct engine). But I though it prudent to throw out the bad experience I had as a warning.
