Great question. I'm thinking that one is ready to move up from the blade cp/hb cp2 only a treex will do.

Go for the esky cp2 or blade cp

Woops, misunderstood the question. Newbie is right and the blade cp/CP2, willl provide great fun, but respect the challenge of learning to fly and it gets better by the day. Baby steps=reduced frustration/$, yet it still requires courage...somewhat like flying a full scale fighter without the bodily risk.

for those of you out there that have the falcon 3d by art tech I found a cheap replacement for the tail boom available at your hobby store, ace hardware, and most craft stores. it is K&S brass tubing 11/32 dia. with .014 wall it comes in 12 inch lenghts which only a 1/8 longer than the factory tail boom.

ya the falcons a great heli, but it doesn''t have enough control do pull some really serious 3d stuff. It''s fine for loops, rolls, stalls, and interted flight though...

The Falcon flies great for the price. Much more stable (and it is larger) than the Blade CP and a MUCH better learning platform.
