i don't know what weight, but you don't need to fill your front diff. my rear one isn't filled.

yes with a X-Mod

its trickey to do and strangly enough it adds lots of stress on the motor and tranny. it makes handling strange, at full throttle, it hopps around and turning is compromized by torq steer. the motor takes longer to wind out and gets hotter in return.

not a good idea, expecially these with diff problems you want the work to be shared between the wheels, pushing and pulling.

but... has anyone tried a locked front gear box.

and i have a question, locking the gear box almost makes the diffs bullet proof right? (except for the big spur diff gear)

lean it 1/8 turn (clock wise) If not put you idle back up run like that for a little then tune the idle.

I got a Chaos about 4 months ago and have gone through half a gallon of 30% Trinity Monster Horsepower. I mainly drive it in the street in front of my house about 2 times a week or through 4-5 tanks of fuel. I haven’t had any problems with the diffs or engine yet, but we’ll see. These are some things that I’ve personally experienced or done:

First, I broke in the engine as explained at www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5517128/tm.htm. I’ve had no problems, and the engine starts/runs nicely. I found that the factory setting was rich, and I did not tweak the idle until I leaned out the engine.

I cut the fuel lines so
